Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?
I work primarily with high-functioning adults and couples who appear stable and capable on the outside but feel stuck, depleted, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients are professionals, parents, and individuals navigating responsibility, ambition, and relational strain.
What issues do you typically help with?
Common themes include anxiety, burnout, emotional exhaustion, relationship strain, ambition without fulfillment, marital tension, and the quiet sense of “I should be happier than this.”
What is your approach to therapy?
My work is thoughtful, structured, and practical. I integrate insight-oriented exploration with behavioral tools and direct conversation. Therapy is not endless venting — it is a collaborative process aimed at clarity, ownership, and meaningful change.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is a focused and comprehensive intake. We explore your history, current concerns, and treatment goals. You will leave with greater clarity about the direction of our work together.
Do you offer a consultation?
Yes. I offer a brief consultation call to help determine fit and discuss next steps before scheduling ongoing sessions.
Do you work with couples?
Yes. I work with couples who want to move beyond surface conflict and address deeper patterns of communication, resentment, emotional distance, and misalignment.
Do you integrate faith or cultural values?
When meaningful to the client, I thoughtfully incorporate faith, tradition, and cultural nuance into the therapeutic process while maintaining professional clinical standards.
What are your fees?
The fee for a standard 50-minute session is $250.
The initial intake session is $375.
Do you accept insurance?
I operate as a private-pay practice and am not in-network with insurance panels. However, many clients qualify for reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Upon request, I provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Therapy is confidential, with limited legal exceptions such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others. We review confidentiality clearly at the start of treatment.
